2 students shot inside LA school, student suspect arrested

The scene near Sal Castro Middle School

A shooting at a middle school in Los Angeles yesterday is being ruled an accident.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with those who were hurt in today's shooting incident at Sal Castro Middle School and with all the students, families and employees on the campus", Vivian Ekchian, interim superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, said in a statement Thursday.

Two other students, 11 and 12, had graze wounds related to the incident and a 30-year-old female staffer had a minor injury.

A 15-year-old boy who was shot in the head was in critical condition, and a 15-year-old girl who was shot in the arm was listed as stable, Los Angeles police said late Thursday.

A semiautomatic handgun was recovered from the scene.

"I'm anxious and I want her to be released already".

After police began to patrol the premises and investigate the evidence, they have come to a conclusion that the shooting was largely unintentional, and was not meant to cause harm to any classmates or faculty. She said she had been texting her daughter, but hadn't heard back. The woman, who was not identified, told the station that her granddaughter was caring and loving but didn't have many friends and had been bullied by another girl. I anticipate that he will make a full recovery'.

Facebook wants to show users more local news
The number of daily users in the United States and Canada actually fell to 184 million from 185 million a quarter earlier. Facebook attributed the decline to product changes , but executives noted they don't think that trend will continue.

"They thought it was a toy gun, but then it shot", he told KACB.

Just yesterday, another shooting occurred in an American public school; however, this time authorities are concluding that the incident was accidental.

A day earlier, a 15-year-old student was injured in a shooting in the Texas city of Italy. A month later, a student died from a shooting at Reseda High School.

Two students were injured in a shooting inside a school in Los Angeles, the USA.

However, an audit last April of 20 schools found that some schools failed to do the searches daily and that a quarter of them didn't have the right metal-detecting wands.

According to Everytown, a gun control advocacy organization, the shooting at Sal Castro Middle School marks at least the 14th school shooting in the USA this year.

The school is located to the west of downtown Los Angeles.
